Danny …….Unfortunately J I have been in the foodservice industry my entire life. Growing up in a small mountain town of Hazard, Kentucky my parents were “in the biz” so I developed a love for food and service at an early age. I attempted to run away from being involved by going to Purdue and studying landscape architecture. However, I soon realized that spending a large portion of time at a computer or drawing board did not seem compelling enough for me. Having a passion for food and hospitality I switched majors and enrolled in the Restaurant management program at Purdue. Luckily I was able to train under two very talented chefs outside of the classroom to learn the art, and learning the business side in the classroom. After graduating in 2000 my career has led me all over the country and fortunately I was able to move to beautiful Seattle. Josh and I share a passion for creative and impeccably prepared food. So we hope the Skillet will be able to share that passion with you and yours for years to come. |

Josh So a little about me...I graduated from the CIA hyde park campus in 1998. From there took a circuitous route to figuring out that I didn’t really enjoy restaurants, but loved food and creating for people.. I decided in 2006 to begin a project in bringing great bistro food to the office parks and events of the west coast!. I felt a real affinity for the cubicle nation that is underserved...so an airstream seemed like a good idea and along with my partner in food danny, we had a viable business idea. We will see how it goes, but I have a feeling you will be seeing a few Skillet kitchens around town in the coming months.. So along with my beautiful wife and my pups Lucca and zola, we hope to create business that sustains itself through impeccably executed food, simply done, and regionally relevant. We look forward to meeting you, stop by and say hey..

“the concept” We buy old Airstream Trailers, and outfit them so that they have a full commercial kitchen. We then go out to local office parks, events, farmers markets and provide impeccably executed and seasonably relevant bistro style food. Our market is people who really like food, and who appreciate food. Our goal is seattle first, the west coast/world second |
